Home
A standard homeowners insurance policy includes four
essential types of coverage:
- Coverage for the structure
of your home
This part of your policy pays to repair or rebuild your home
if it is damaged or destroyed by fire, hurricane, hail,
lightning or other disaster listed in your policy. It is
important to make sure your home is insured to its proper
replacement value. We can help you make sure you have the
right insurance before a loss occurs, before it is too late.

insurance.
-
Coverage for your personal belongings
Your furniture, clothes, sports equipment and other personal
items can be covered if they are stolen or destroyed by
fire, hurricane or other insured disaster.
-
On and off-premises personal belongings options are
available.
-
Liability protection
Liability covers you against lawsuits for bodily injury or
property damage that you or family members cause to other
people or damage caused by your pets. The liability portion
of your insurance policy generally pays for both the cost of
defending you in court and any court awards up to the limit
of your policy.
-
Liability limits generally start at $100,000. Our
insurance experts will listen to your needs and
recommend the right amount of protection.
-
Insuring for higher liability limits is surprisingly
inexpensive. In most cases it is less than $25 a year.
-
Additional living expenses in the event you are
temporarily unable to live in your home because of a fire or
other insured disaster.
Coverage usually includes expenses including hotel bills
restaurant meals and other living expenses incurred while
your home is being rebuilt. If you rent out part of your
house, this coverage may also reimburse you for the rent you
would have collected from your tenant if your home had not
been destroyed.
Auto
Auto insurance protects you
from severe financial loss in the event that you are involved
in an auto accident or are the victim of theft or vandalism.
In exchange for paying a premium, the insurance provider
agrees to cover expenses related to the bodily injury or
property damage resulting from an automobile accident. New
York State requires every driver to hold automobile insurance
.

Umbrella
If you are not covered by an Umbrella Policy you could be
risking everything -- your car, your home, the lifestyle to
which you and your family are accustomed, and possibly even
your future income. Typical auto, homeowners and other
property insurance limits are not adequate to cover the large
court judgments being awarded these days.
Umbrella
policies or excess liability policies provide an “umbrella” of
protection over your other personal liability policies for
liability claims.
Umbrella
policies provide added protection you may need if you are held
liable in certain situations such as when someone is:
-
Injured on your property
-
Injured in an accident involving your auto or boat
-
Injured in a hunting accident
-
Claiming libel, slander, defamation of character or invasion
of privacy
